THE COMPANY

Founded in 1980, INTACE is a specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor for the paper and lumber industries. The company’s product line includes:

• fungicides and biocides for mold and bacteria resistant paper, paperboard and non-wovens. End use markets include soap packaging, label paper, building materials, the automotive industry, bank notes, shoe carton and others.
• sap stain and impregnation products for the wood and lumber.

INTACE sales are global covering Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and Africa.

INTACE has worked in close association with the DuPont Chemical Company, developing and marketing fluorinated hydrocarbon products used in the manufacture of grease-resistant papers. INTACE represents DuPont in France, Spain, Italy and South Africa for the Foraperle® and Cap Stone® product lines targeting paper and board mills.

INTACE distributes the wood impregnation product line of Guard Industries in France. Woodguard® is a high performance, decorative, wood impregnation product that protects against moisture and U.V. damage.

INTACE is committed to the research and development of more effective and environmentally-friendly chemical products. To achieve these objectives, INTACE maintains close ties with both the Centre Technique du Papier at the University of Grenoble and the Chemical Department at the University of Lille.
